Ms. Grace Sun, President of the GLA Global Logistics Alliance shared insights on how platform ecosystems can drive deeper integration and collaborative development between logistics providers and manufacturers on Thursday at a conference held in Shenzhen’s Longgang District, where GLA signed a cooperation pact with the Longgang District Logistics Chamber of Commerce to deepen bilateral collaboration.
Longgang District's 2nd Logistics-Manufacturing Integration Business Matchmaking Event and Cross-Border Logistics Conference convened over 200 executives and officials from supply chain, logistics and manufacturing firms, as well as representatives from industry associations and investment institutions.
Through keynote speeches, policy briefings and corporate showcases, the event offered in-depth discussions on practical approaches and future directions for the integration of the logistics and manufacturing industries.
Among the featured speakers was Ms. Grace Sun, who emphasized the critical role of the platform-based ecosystems in enabling more efficient collaboration between the industries, referencing global supply chain trends, as well as GLA's industry insights and innovative practices.
Policy tailwinds, global manufacturing expansion and demand for agile supply chains are creating significant integration opportunities, according to the GLA President.
During the event, the Longgang District Logistics Chamber of Commerce and the GLA Global Logistics Alliance signed a strategic cooperation agreement. Moving forward, both parties will deepen collaboration across multiple areas to jointly support enterprises in expanding into international markets.
At the event, GLA set up an exhibition booth to showcase its global resources and service capabilities in the field of cross-border logistics. GLA also engaged in targeted business matchmaking with several manufacturing and logistics companies.
As a direct result of this summit, GLA has paved the way for its global logistics network to become more cohesive, efficient and resilient. Moving forward, these resources and collaborative achievements will continue to empower GLA member companies, helping them gain a competitive edge and accelerate their success in the global logistics market.
To be noticed, GLA will host its 13th GLA Global Logistics Conference in Bangkok, Thailand from Nov 7 to 10, 2025, which is anticipated to attract over 2,000 logistics professionals, government officials and representatives from different sectors to engage in deeper discussions on implementing cross-sector synergies.
