Mr. Wang Ensen, the President of the China Association of International Logistics and Transport, delivered speech and pointed out that
"over the past three years, the economic downturn has been exacerbated by the spread of the pandemic and the phased adjustments made to economic globalization. This has resulted in prominent supply-demand conflicts and a mismatch between business demands and supply capacity on a global scale. Given this context, the industry urgently requires an offline platform for communication and deep cooperation. The 8th Global Logistics Enterprise Summit held by GLA is timely and important in addressing these challenges."
Mr. Wang Ensen, also shared his views on how to address global supply chain issues and risks. He believes that it is crucial to strengthen production-demand coordination through global coordination and cooperation in international supply chains, thereby improving collaborative abilities. In addition, he stressed the importance of strengthening international trade cooperation and clearing the global industrial supply chain. Holding international conferences has a positive value and significance in promoting effective connections between international production and demand, and promoting the optimized development of international supply chains. Lastly, he emphasized the need to use digital economic means such as the internet and big data to facilitate international circulation. By digitizing the global supply chain, it can be empowered, made more elastic and resilient, and an effective collaborative international supply chain system can be established.

After the signing ceremony, the main event of the opening ceremony began. The theme of this summit was "New Turning Points, Seeking Opportunities," focusing on the changes in the international logistics and supply chain system, higher requirements for logistics supply, new turning points for enterprise digital transformation, and the new pattern of international and domestic circulation in the post-pandemic era. GLA invited representatives of entrepreneurs, renowned experts and scholars, and local government leaders from different continents to share their insights and experiences, thus helping international logistics entrepreneurs seize new turning points, grasp new opportunities, achieve international development, promote international trade, and usher in a new era of international logistics development.
During the discussion, two trends and an opportunity were highlighted, which are important for international logistics entrepreneurs to monitor closely. Firstly, the "supply structure adjustment" trend should be taken into account, particularly as industries and consumption patterns evolve in the post-pandemic era. Meeting the increased demand for higher quality logistics supply requires entrepreneurs to focus on improving efficiency, reducing costs, and achieving qualitative improvements for reasonable quantitative growth. Secondly, entrepreneurs should also pay attention to the trend of "logistics digital transformation." In the current environment of growing demand and a thriving market, enhancing the core competitiveness of logistics enterprises is imperative. Therefore, digitalization of logistics operations, the use of logistics platforms, and the implementation of intelligent logistics solutions can all be essential resources for upgrading and transforming logistics enterprises.
Experts and scholars also highly praised the role of the global offline summit in the peak dialogue and explored hidden opportunities. For global international logistics entrepreneurs, resource sharing and joint creation are the best ways to cross the cycle in the post-pandemic era. Logistics companies should "go out" as early as possible to leverage logistics network layout in other regions' business markets, expand potential opportunities, and deepen global development thinking in their global layout.
Furthermore panel also had discussion on big data, Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), quantum technology, logistics robots, blockchain, etc.
Following that, Raz Ronen, the representative of the sponsor, Wisor AI, took the stage to deliver a speech. He expressed his pleasure in participating in the summit and highlighted that the Global Logistics Alliance (GLA) is dedicated to leading the collaborative development of global logistics enterprises and building a new ecosystem for international supply chains, which aligns with his company's goals. He analyzed that in the digital era, global business is developing at an unprecedented pace, yet the shipping industry has not kept up with the pace. Despite transporting almost everything we use, wear, and consume, overreliance on manual offline processes often leads to unnecessary delays, price fluctuations, and other inefficiencies that impact the company's bottom line.
