On the evening of May 16, 2025, the much-anticipated GLA Gala Dinner marked an unforgettable evening at the 12th GLA Global Logistics Conference in Dubai, held at the prestigious Grand Hyatt Dubai. The dinner followed the Opening Ceremony earlier that day, setting the tone for the upcoming days of impactful discussions, networking, and collaboration among nearly 2,000 logistics professionals from over 130 countries and regions.

This GLA Gala Dinner was much more than a formal event; it was an evening designed to cultivate meaningful connections and honor the collective achievements of logistics professionals worldwide. Centered on the theme of "Peaceful Prosperity · Digital Innovation · Trustworthy Cooperation," the Gala Dinner united industry leaders, logistics experts, and influential figures from across the globe, creating a platform for forging lasting relationships and driving future growth.

The highlight of the evening was the inspiring keynote address by Ms. Grace Sun, Founder and President of the GLA Global Logistics Alliance and the Global Logistics Enterprises Federation (GLEF). Ms. Sun highlighted GLA’s vision to create a better world for global logistics through collaboration, innovation, and sustainability. Together with special guests and the GLA team, she raised a toast to the prosperous development of the global logistics industry and the successful hosting of the conference.

The Gala Dinner also served as the stage for the GLA Awards Ceremony, which began with the GLA Gloden and Silver Sponsor Award, recognizing global partners who have provided support for the development of GLA and celebrating their outstanding contributions to advancing industry collaboration. Following this, the GLA Global Partner Award, GLA Outstanding Contribution Award, GLA Outstanding Member Award, GLA Growth Award, GLA Member Valued Partner Award, GLA Creative Contribution Award, and GLA New Members Certificate were presented in succession, each celebrating extraordinary accomplishments in industry cooperation, growth trajectories, and professional contributions. The awardees hailed from countries including the UAE, the Netherlands, Kenya, India, the UK, Brazil, and more, and are now seen as benchmarks in the global logistics sector.

The female-focused program "Her Name is Strength" emerged as a defining moment of the GLA Gala Dinner at the 12th GLA Global Logistics Conference, delivering a powerful tribute to the unique value of women in the logistics industry through a series of compelling speeches—a true highlight that resonated deeply with the audience.

The segment opened with a video montage showcasing women’s contributions across past GLA Conferences, accompanied by a moving narration that underscored their role in driving the industry forward. Following this, five outstanding female leaders from Türkiye, China, Kuwait, Gabon, and Mexico took the stage. Through a dynamic blend of personal storytelling and multimedia visuals, they shared their inspiring journeys and triumphs in the world of logistics.

The "Al-Ayyala" dance performance, a traditional Emirati folk dance, brought a unique cultural touch to the event. Also, a GLA member from Nepal sang the song "Welcome to GLA," highlighting the spirit of unity and friendship. The excitement peaked when a ticket to the upcoming Bangkok Conference was awarded as the grand prize, adding an electrifying buzz to the event. Additionally, a warm and personal touch was added to the gathering as guests born in May were celebrated with a special cake and heartfelt birthday wishes, creating a sense of community and connection among attendees. Also, the culinary experience, featuring exquisite dishes, served as a cultural bridge, connecting guests from various countries.
