The Drury World Container Index (WCI) fell slightly, with a price of US $7648 / FEU, but this value is still higher than last year. Drury expects freight rates to remain stable in the coming weeks.

According to Drury's latest report, there are 742 scheduled voyages in the main voyages across the Pacific and from Asia to northern Europe. However, nearly 73 voyages were cancelled, most of them on the trans Pacific eastbound route.


It is understood that in the next few weeks, the world's three major shipping alliances will cancel 58 voyages. Among them, 23 voyages were cancelled at 2M, 20 voyages were cancelled by THE Alliance, and 15 voyages were cancelled by the Ocean Alliance.


Some experts pointed out that the closure in Shanghai is expected to end in June. At that time, all economic activities will suddenly return to near normal levels.
